HIMANA | Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy

 

1.    2-Day Easy Return & Exchange

 

We offer a 2-day return and exchange policy for all unused and unworn items. We want you to feel confident in your choice.

 

  • The Security Tag Clause: To prevent "wardrobing" (wear-and-return), all items arrive with a branded security tag. We will not accept returns if this tag is broken, cut, or tampered with.
  • Hygiene Standards: For health and safety, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective.

 

2.    Exclusions (Final Sale)

 

The 2-day policy does not apply to:

 

  • Personalized Jewellery: Custom-engraved or made-to-order pieces.
  • Specific Categories: Perfumes, coins, utensils, and God idols (unless defective or spurious).
  • Damaged Items: Any product showing signs of wear, scratches, or altered plating.

 

3.    Refund & Valuation

 

  • Refund Initiation: Processed only after the product passes a Quality Check (QC) at our warehouse.
  • Mode of Refund (HIMANA Gift Voucher): At HIMANA, we do not provide cash refunds for "change of mind" returns. Instead, we issue a HIMANA Digital Gift Voucher for the full invoice value.
    • This voucher is sent to your registered email/mobile number.
    • It has a validity of 6 months and can be used to purchase any item on our website or at our studio.

 

Note: In cases where the product is proven to be defective or deviates from the advertised description, a full cash refund to the original payment method will be provided as per Nepal’s E-commerce Act 2081.

 

  • Fixed Value: Refunds are processed strictly based on the original invoice amount. We do not adjust for daily fluctuations in silver or gold prices.
  • Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. If a "Free Gift" or promotional item is missing from the return, its full MRP will be deducted from your refund.

 

4.    Shipping & Reverse Pick-up

 

  • Availability: We offer reverse pick-up in major serviceable areas. Please ensure availability for the courier partner; failure to attend the pick-up call may lead to cancellation of the request.
  • Non-Serviceable Areas: If our partner cannot reach you (e.g., remote districts), you may ship the item via Nepal Post or a reliable local courier.
    • HIMANA will reimburse shipping costs up to Rs. 50.
    • Any amount exceeding Rs. 50 will be adjusted from your final refund.

 

5.    Damaged, Empty, or Missing Parcels

 

  • Reporting: Issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • 360-Degree Video: To protect both parties, a complete 360-degree unpacking video (showing all sides of the box before opening) is mandatory for claims regarding missing or damaged products. Without this evidence, HIMANA reserves the right to decline the claim.

 

6.    Lifetime Value & Authenticity (HIMANA Signature)

 

  • 925 Purity Guarantee: Every piece is laser printed. If found to be below 92.5% silver purity, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee.
  • Lifetime Exchange/Buy-Back: As Nepal’s Premium Silver Jewellery Brand, we value your investment. We offer a lifetime buy-back/exchange based on the Silver Weight of your piece at current market rates (excluding making charges and plating costs).
